Plot Summary

The film revolves around the love story of Gaurav Mehra (Girish Kumar) and Pooja Misra (Navneet Kaur Dhillon), who meet each other in different circumstances and end up falling in love. The film begins with Gaurav, an obedient and well-behaved man who lives in London and is getting ready for his wedding to Vandana, a dominating and finicky woman. His friend Kunal (Naveen Kasturia) hosts a bachelor's party for him, which goes awry when Gaurav wakes up with Pooja, a free-spirited girl, in his bed. Gaurav asks Pooja to leave, but she ends up wearing a shirt that his mother-in-law had gifted him for his engagement. He realizes his mistake only when Pooja is gone, and starts searching for her.

He finally meets Pooja again, who tells him what happened the night they were together. They had danced, talked, drank, partied, and made love. She also gives him some lectures on how to live life. Gaurav falls in love with Pooja, but does not acknowledge his feelings and marries Vandana. Four years later, he is divorced and blames his sister (Tisca Chopra) for everything that has gone wrong in his life. His friend Kunal suggests going to Mauritius for a vacation. There, he meets Pooja again, who is now engaged to Vinayak Sengupta (Yash Pandit), a proposal that she had accepted. They spend more time together, only to realize that they still love each other.
